3 from Winnebago Co. hurt in crash near Illinois-Wisconsin border

TOWN OF NEWARK, Wis. (WIFR) – A crash just north of the Illinois border called for multiple people to be extricated.

Around 10:20 a.m. Sunday, March 22, several area police, sheriff and fire departments responded to the report of a two-vehicle crash in the Town of Newark, near Brodhead.

Investigators with the Rock County Sheriff’s Office say a Chevrolet Colorado, driven by a 57-year-old Rockton, Illinois man, was driving west on the road when it crossed into the eastbound lanes and crashed head-on with a GMC Sierra driven by a 41-year-old man…
