ROCKFORD — A vision to turn the former Village Green on North Main Street into a year-round dining hall and market with produce grown on site starts with raising the roof.
The local entrepreneurs redeveloping the 2-acre property into North & Main Market, 2640 N. Main St., plan to cut the roof off the existing building and extend the structure upward. The new roof will be 16-foot tall.
