CHERRY VALLEY, Ill. (WIFR) – A local library cuts the ribbon on the Idea Zone Saturday morning and opens the creative space to the community.
After the grand-opening ceremony and ribbon cutting at 9:45 a.m., March 28, people filled the Cherry Valley Public Library, 755 E State Street, to explore what the new makerspace has to offer.
From a 3-D printer to sewing machines, the space has a variety of tools perfect for hands-on learning and exploring crafting.
The zone also features a podcast studio and group workstations to encourage people to engage their creativity, pick up a new hobby or hone a skill.
