ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – Drivers are encouraged to find an alternative route as construction crews begin work on Monday.
Starting March 30, resurfacing work will begin on Newburg Rd. in Rockford from S Alpine Rd. to S Mulford Road. The outside lanes for both the eastbound and westbound sides of the road will be closed for construction.
Drivers should expect delays and remember stay alert and be cautious in work zones…
