For other people, it’s a great place for something to eat, stretch your legs, buy some merch, and who knows, maybe a wedding venue.
Road Trip Romance Turns Into Buc-ee’s Wedding
That’s because an Illinois couple decided Buc-ee’s was the best place to get married. What started as a joke between Bob Hepsen and his fiancée, Melanie Curtis, became the actual plan.
Since Hepsen and Curtis love road trips, they both loaded up the car and decided to drive to Sevierville, Tennessee, and get married at a Buc-ee’s.

They hired an officiant, and the wedding was held by the Bucky the Beaver statue. You’d think I’m joking, but sometimes the truth is stranger than fiction.
They weren’t there very long, though, as the nuptials between Curtis and Hepsen only lasted three minutes.
