Businesses on E. State ‘Miracle Mile’ consider security cameras to fight theft, vandalism

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — A security program introduced by Miracle Mile, a Rockford group that helps small businesses thrive, is back again this year as in years past, safety was a wide concern.

“We didn’t have quite the coverage we wanted; we did have some theft here at one time, and we also had some graffiti,” shared the president of 1919 Architects, Ron Billy.

Even with precautions and cameras in place, some crime is beyond a business’s control. There is a way, however, to strengthen security. For Billy, he turned to Miracle Mile’sSecurity Camera Purchase Assistant Program, where he added four more cameras to the building…
