WINNEBAGO COUNTY, Ill. (WIFR) – Dairy cows steer their head through a metal enclosure. Beside the animals’ tongues pick up their meal, Brent Pollard scoops a handful of their feed: a mixture of wheat, soybeans and corn.
“It’s all chewed up pretty good,” he describes of the yellow, mashed concoction.
