Winnebago County Coroner identifies 38-year-old man killed in single vehicle crash

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) β€” The Winnebago County Coroner’s Office has released the identity of the 38-year-old man who died in a single-vehicle crash Wednesday, April 1.

Officials say Brett Bothwell was driving eastbound on College Avenue around 11:15 a.m. when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed.

Rockford Police Officers and the Rockford Fire Department responded to the scene and found Bothwell unresponsive. Life-saving efforts were attempted, but he was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 12:09 p.m…
