ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – A Rockford man learns how long he will spend in prison for setting fire to two churches.
Marzavious Thomas, 31, is sentenced to five years in federal prison and must also pay restitution to the churches.
On October 19, 2022, Thomas set fire at Bethesda Covenant Church, 2101 E. State Street.
