ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – Rockford’s LIAM Foundation held a reception Thursday evening, giving the community a chance to meet this year’s Honorary Grand Marshals for the 2026 Pride Parade.
The grand marshals were selected for the lasting impact each has made on the Rockford LGBTQIA+ community through leadership, advocacy, education and the arts. Each represents one of the three themes: celebrate, remember and unite.
Celebrate: Norm Knott
Norm Knott was chosen for his decades-long contributions to LGBTQIA+ advocacy and the arts in Rockford. Working with mixed media and jewelry, Knott’s art explores human rights and social awareness.
