The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office is getting attention for more than just arrests after a Target sting operation video started making the rounds online with Yung Miami’s viral “Spend Dat” playing in the background. The Sacramento Target sting video shows surveillance footage of alleged thefts taking place inside the store before cutting to multiple arrests, creating the kind of law enforcement recap that looked more like a social media edit than a standard department post.

According to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, its Organized Retail Crime Task Force teamed up with Target on June 3, 2026, as part of a National Organized Retail Theft Blitz. The department said the effort focused on identifying and apprehending repeat offenders and retail thieves. By the end of the operation, deputies reported seven arrests, including two felony arrests under Proposition 36, three additional felony drug-related charges, and two warrant arrests tied to five outstanding warrants. Deputies also issued ten trespass notices and cited several more people.
