Teenage Driver Arrested for DUI Following Rollover Crash Into Tree in Woodland

WOODLAND, CA — An 18-year-old resident of Davis was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a single-vehicle rollover collision on East Street.

According to law enforcement reports, the vehicle veered off the roadway, struck a tree, and subsequently overturned. The driver, who was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision, sustained minor airbag abrasions and walked away from the scene. No other vehicles or individuals were involved or injured in the incident.

Upon contacting the driver, responding officers conducted an investigation and determined the individual was operating the vehicle while impaired. A chemical test revealed the driver had a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of 0.16%, which is twice the legal limit for an adult driver…
