(KRON) — Forward progress of a wildfire burning in Cordelia Thursday has been stopped at 6 acres, according to Cal Fire. The vegetation fire, dubbed the Mason Fire, started before noon near the 1600 block of Mason Road.
“The fire is backing downhill in grass and inline with the wind,” Cal Fire Sonoma-Lake-Napa Unit said at 11:51 a.m. An hour later, Cal Fire reported that the fire grew to 6 acres.
