A plaza dedicated solely to food trucks has arrived in Citrus Heights.
The plaza at 7509 Twin Oaks Ave. was created to support small food truck businesses, said plaza manager Satvinder Singh. Instead of having to travel from street to street, this venue allows the food trucks to remain as long as they wish.
“Small business food truck owners had to rotate every two, three hours from street to street,” Satvinder said. “So I said, ‘why don’t we just give them a permanent spot with the utilities where they don’t have to move around?”…
