(FOX40.COM) – Firefighters with Sac Metro Fire rushed to put out a fire at the Nimbus Winery Shopping Mall just before 2 a.m. on Wednesday.
The fire appears to have started in a dumpster or storage area outside the building before extending to an exterior wall of The Old Spaghetti Factory. There does not appear to be extensive damage to the building itself or the interior of the restaurant.
FOX40 saw firefighters cut out a portion of the restaurant’s back wall during the fire fight, which was boarded up by a restoration company shortly after. The fire did not spread to any other businesses in the plaza.
The Nimbus Winery Building, located on Folsom Boulevard in Rancho Cordova, was built in 1905. Today, the shopping mall is home to over 10 businesses focused on dining, retail, and entertainment…
