The California Department of Motor Vehicles has told about 11,000 drivers they must retake the written test for their licenses within 30 days or risk losing them after the agency said it found irregularities in test results.
The notices went to drivers who took written knowledge tests between July 2025 and April 2026, according to a DMV statement provided to CBS Sacramento. The agency has not publicly explained the irregularities.
