Units from Folsom, El Dorado Hills contain Souza Way structure fire to garage, attic of home
Firefighters from two agencies made quick work of a fast-moving structure fire that damaged a home in Folsom’s Parkway community Thursday afternoon.
The fire was reported at 12:35 p.m. in the 1100 block of Souza Way, where callers reported smoke and a possible fire behind a fenced area along the side of a home near the garage. The incident drew a response from the Folsom Fire Department, with the El Dorado Hills Fire Department assisting through mutual aid.
The response included six engines, two truck companies, a battalion chief unit and additional support personnel. Folsom Police also responded to assist with keeping residents safe and managing traffic in the tight residential neighborhood as fire crews worked at the scene…
