(FOX40.COM) — The Sacramento Police Department will check drivers for impairment Friday evening, the city said.
According to the city, officers will be out from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. at a location that has experienced previous “impaired driving-related crashes.”
“Impaired drivers put others on the road at significant risk,” Sergeant Anna Mahoney said. “Any prevention measures that reduce the number of impaired drivers on our roads significantly improve traffic safety.”…
