SACRAMENTO — SEIU Local 1000 members will begin voting Wednesday, Sept. 9, on whether to let union leaders call an unfair practice strike against the state.
Union leaders announced the vote Monday evening in Sacramento. The vote does not mean a strike has started, and no strike date has been set.
