If you were not one of the few hundred people who attended Sunday’s Tower Bridge Dinner, there’s another opportunity to engage with farm-to-fork chefs and local wine and beer producers this week — and it costs a lot less.
On Thursday, Sept. 10, CalExpo will host its inaugural An Evening on the Farm, a family-friendly event connecting growers, chefs, brewers, vintners and food advocates who make Sacramento’s food scene so vital. Guests will enjoy chef-designed bites made with seasonal ingredients from regional farms, as well as California beverages, while strolling the grounds of The Farm at CalExpo.
