It’s easy for pranksters to cross a line that shouldn’t be crossed. That’s what a group of teenagers in Sacramento did after they posted videos of themselves on social media throwing water bottles at homeless people and otherwise being a menace by threatening others. The outrage from the community is palpable, and one TikTok creator has made it his business to figure out the identities of the teenagers for what he says amounts to assault and battery.
TikTok creator is trying to identify the teens
A video of a group of unidentified teenagers throwing bottles and performing pranks has since gone viral for all the wrong reasons, according to a report from CBS Sacramento.
A compilation of the teens’ actions can be seen in a video by TikTok creator TizzyEnt (@tizzyent) who is appalled by what they are doing and is in search of more information about who they are, so that he can reach out to local law enforcement. At the time of writing, the video has received over 250,000 likes and over 1.3 million views.
The creator says he received a link to the teenagers’ social media page (which has since been taken down) that had two videos on it. The pranksters are seen throwing water and water bottles at the unhoused in several different cuts. In one segment, one of the teens appears to hand a bottle to a homeless man as a seemingly nice gesture, only to chuck it at the man and drench him in water before running away…
