By Sara Beth Williams– — Despite “coming soon” signage, a donut shop in the Grand Oaks shopping center on Auburn Boulevard has yet to open.
In spite of the colorful signage in its front windows, and previously active social media accounts in 2025, Far-Out Dough, located in a small storefront on Auburn Boulevard near the Dollar General and Mary’s thrift store has remained vacant for at least a year.
According to an official sign posted on its storefront, the shop was issued a permit of occupancy on Sept 23. 2025, but the business does not appear to have occupied the space. According to neighboring businesses, there has been no activity at the location for months on end…
