(FOX40.COM) — A Sacramento man was convicted and now faces a possible life sentence for domestic violence, assault with a deadly weapon and making terrorist threats, officials announced Thursday.
According to the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office, Ismael Ramos faces a maximum sentence of 25 years to life in prison.
Officials say that Ramos punched his partner in the face and strangled her to the point of losing consciousness on two occasions. He then cut her face with a pocketknife and threatened to kill her and take his own life…
