Roughly 200 vehicles are set to roll into North Natomas this Saturday for the 29th Annual Mustangs and Fords Car Show, a free, all-day event running from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Universal Technical Institute. Muscle cars, exotics, classics, customs, trucks, antiques and hot rods will line the lot alongside vendors, food trucks, barbecue, and live music from a band and DJ.
This year marks a significant change in venue for the long-running show, according to FOX40 News. The Sacramento Area Mustang Club relocated the event from the Sacramento Marriott Rancho Cordova to UTI’s North Natomas campus specifically to double vehicle parking and expand vendor space, according to a Facebook post from the club. Universal Technical Institute is also holding an open house during the car show, giving visitors a look at the campus itself while they check out the vehicles on display.
Regional group Cars & Coffee Sacramento is co-hosting Saturday’s show alongside the Mustang club, according to a post from Cars & Coffee Sac. The partnership fits a broader pattern for the Mustang club, which has been scaling up its flagship event by teaming with established local automotive hubs rather than going it alone.
Trophies and a Free Spectator Gate
