(FOX40.COM) — The Sacramento County man who was convicted of a 2023 shooting last month was sentenced to 31 years in prison, officials announced Thursday.
According to the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office, 56-year-old Anthony Gibbs received a maximum sentence of 31 years and four months for attempted murder, two counts of shooting at an occupied vehicle and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Officials say that on Dec. 1, 2023, Gibbs shot at least eight rounds of ammunition into an occupied car, striking the driver four times, including in the back and shoulder. The front passenger was struck in the cheek…
