(FOX40.COM) — A drug-sniffing dog found three pounds of methamphetamine during a traffic stop earlier this month in Roseville, officials announced Tuesday.
Just after 1 a.m. on Sept. 11, an officer with the Roseville Police Department pulled over an SUV near Riverside Avenue and Interstate 80 for multiple traffic violations. During the stop, the K-9 Ciro alerted the officer that drugs were present. The officer then searched the vehicle and found three pounds of methamphetamine concealed inside the car, Roseville police said.
45-year-old Carrie Waldemar and 42-year-old Nicolas Brown, both of Rocklin, were arrested for possession of methamphetamine and for the sale and transportation of a controlled substance. They were booked into the South Placer County Jail, Roseville police said…
