Café Ami, an all-day neighborhood café from MAC Hospitality Group, is planning to open in early 2027 at 450 Palladio Parkway in Folsom, in the space that was home to Mas Taco Bar. The taco restaurant closed for good on Sunday, Oct. 25, and the 3,500-square-foot space will be fully remodeled before the café opens. No exact opening date has been set.
The coffee shop will serve California-inspired food, specialty coffee and a pastry and dessert program made in partnership with Sacramento’s Ettore’s Bakery. Chef Dane Blom will lead the kitchen. The menu will center on sandwiches, salads and bowls, with service from morning coffee and breakfast through lunch, dinner and dessert.
The company says it is building the concept around simple, unfussy food and an easy, consistent experience from the first coffee of the day to dessert. It is aimed at Palladio shoppers, visitors to the Harris Center for the Arts and families who live and go to school nearby…
