Two suspects arrested in deadly early-morning shooting in Sacramento

(FOX40.COM) — Two people have been arrested as suspects in the shooting death of a man early in the morning on Wednesday , Sacramento Police announced.

The agency said the two suspects, 38 and 28, both of Sacramento, were detained Wednesday evening, hours after a shooting occurred near the intersection of 12th Ave. and Stockton Blvd.

The shooting was reported around 5 a.m. The victim was found with a gunshot wound and a dog was also injured, police said.

Both suspects face charges of homicide and were taken to the Sacramento County Main Jail.
