(FOX40.COM) — A 33-year-old man from Sacramento County was arrested on Wednesday in connection to multiple thefts at different Kohl’s locations, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The estimated total amount stolen exceeded $11,000 from six thefts from multiple Kohl’s stores within Sacramento County.
The accused thief, a parolee, was identified as a suspect early in an investigation, the CHP said.
Officials said the man was arrested after surveillance footage confirmed his identity and uncovered further evidence.

As a result of the investigation, the CHP said the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office obtained an arrest warrant for the accused thief.
The 33-year-old man’s charges include crimes related to organized retail theft, felon in possession of a firearm, and felon in possession of ammunition.
After the arrest, the man was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on Thursday.
