In May 2021, Michael Gonzales was living with his father just northeast of Sacramento, California, in a small suburb known as Granite Bay.
Michael was a fairly routine guy for a 27-year-old. He had a girlfriend and enjoyed going to the gym every day. He is also well-liked by everyone that knows him and has many friends.
Michael, or Mike or Mikey as he was often called by family or friends, was with his father at home the night of May 1, 2021. His dad said goodnight to him around 10:00 p.m. and headed to bed.
When his dad woke up the next morning, Mike was gone. After a while, his dad grew worried when he couldn’t reach his son and checked in with Mike’s girlfriend. She said she spoke to Mike around 5:45 a.m. as he was heading to the gym.
Everyone continued to try and reach Mike throughout the day, with no luck.
Finally, Mike Gonzalez was reported missing.
Some clues did come up in the investigation, but Mike remains a missing person.
