(FOX40.COM) — The Sacramento State Planetarium is one of the newest installations on the university’s campus and has become a community favorite with its informative, entertaining and captivating events.
The planetarium is continuing to make 2024 a year of more opportunities as they expand some popular programming, add programing for Spanish speakers and bring back a unique show.

Tickets will go on sale for all upcoming February events at noon on Feb. 5.
More Kid’s Camp
By popular demand, February will see additional dates added for the Kid’s Day show after January’s weekend show sold out in less than two minutes.
“We have six Kid’s Day shows scheduled for February, and if all of those sell out quickly we will work to schedule even more,” the planetarium wrote in a news release.
Oroville Dam releases water as anticipated storms approach
These shows are designed for a K-5 audience and feature information that is featured in the planetarium’s field trip shows.
