Sacramento deputies search for missing disabled person

Editor’s Note: At 6:15 p.m. on Monday, deputies said the missing person was found safe.

(FOX40.COM) — Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office deputies are asking for help to find a 46-year-old man who they say has the mental capacity of an eight-year-old.

Daniel Roberts was last seen at 4:30 p.m. near Morse Avenue, according to deputies. He was “possibly headed towards Hurley Way, wearing a tan Boy Scout shirt and blue jeans.” His height is 6 feet and he weighs 190 pounds. Roberts was described by law enforcement as having brown hair and hazel eyes.

Sacramento deputies deemed him at risk due to being developmentally disabled. They advised anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office at 916-874-5115.
