(FOX40.COM) — Sacramento County officials announced Tuesday afternoon that a second person in the county has died due to impacts from the recent storm.
The county issued a statement just before 4:30 p.m. saying that a 63-year-old woman was found deceased in her backyard on Tuesday under a large fallen tree.

The woman was a resident of Fair Oaks, the statement reads.
It is the second death in the county tied to the storm. A 41-year-old man was also killed by a fallen tree in Carmichael .
In Sutter County, an 82-year-old man was also killed by a fallen tree on Sunday evening.

The storm that hit California starting on Saturday and continuing into Monday drenched the southern part of the state, while in the northern part, extremely strong winds blew throughout Sunday afternoon.
At one point, utility operators said that around 200,000 customers were without power.
