Gang members with felony records convicted of attempted murder in Sacramento drive-by shooting

A Sacramento County Superior Court jury trial that concluded yesterday convicted two street gang members of attempted murder. Nicholas Hayes-Kelly and Joe Rhodes were found guilty of attempted murder, three counts of assault with a semi-automatic firearm, and discharging a firearm at an inhabited vehicle. Hayes-Kelly was convicted of an additional charge of felon in possession of a firearm and that he committed the shooting for the benefit of a criminal street gang.
