Grade the Trade: Bucks Send Robin Lopez to Kings

The Sacramento Kings have had a quiet trade deadline, not making any moves until just ten minutes remaining. While it was not the move many Kings fans expected nor will enjoy, a minor move can still be better than no move at all.

To wrap up the deadline, the Kings have acquired Robin Lopez from the Milwaukee Bucks , per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. Woj reports that the Kings are expected to waive Lopez but will get cash considerations as part of the deal.

While the deal seems almost pointless for Sacramento, it is always helpful to get extra cash in a trade, especially for a team that is nearing the limit.

With all the trades that went down ahead of the deadline, many Kings fans were disappointed when Sacramento did not get in on the fun. Many players that would have been viable fits in Sacramento got dealt, including PJ Washington and Daniel Gafford to the Dallas Mavericks , Quentin Grimes to the Detroit Pistons , and Kelly Olynyk and Ochai Ogbaji to the Toronto Raptors .
