(FOX40.COM) –The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man who was found dead near the Sacramento River.
On July 22, 2022, the decedent was found in an advanced state of decomposition in a tent by the Sacramento River, across the street from the Bill Conlin Sports Complex, according to the coroner.
“A thorough search of the area and the decedent’s person yielded no identification,” Sacramento County Coroner’s Office said on its webpage . “The cause of death was due to acute methamphetamine intoxication.”
Officials said the decedent’s age is unknown and he appears Caucasian. His height is estimated at 5 feet 11 and may have had “brownish-gray, short wavy hair.”
