(FOX40.COM) — Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching, and according to a Northern California-based restaurant reservation company , there’s a place in Sacramento that could offer a more romantic experience than anywhere else in California’s capital city.
OpenTable , which is based in San Francisco, recently completed a survey to discover the top 100 most romantic restaurants in the country. Thirty-four states were included in the list, but it was California that came away with the most restaurants mentioned with 12. Florida came in second place with seven.

Among the restaurants in California, Sacramento’s Allora , a Michelin-recognized restaurant, made the list. According to OpenTable, Allora is a “modern Italian seafood restaurant in the heart of East Sacramento [that] offers a 4-course dining experience.”
It continues, “[Allora] encompasses the best Sacramento produce with new and classic Italian cuisine. Expert culinary craftsmanship showcasing fresh seafood & handmade pasta is creatively paired with a one-of-a-kind Italian-inspired wine list and Italian-centric bar.”
