Originally Published By: Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office. “At approximately 12:30 PM on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, Sacramento County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the call of a shooting on the 7300 block of Del Prado Court in South Sacramento. Upon their arrival, they discovered an adult male lying on the street. Deputies found he was unresponsive and had a gunshot wound in his upper torso. They began life-saving measures until the Sacramento Metro Fire Department arrived. Unfortunately, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
