SACRAMENTO, Calif. – A woman died after being hit by a semi-truck along northbound Interstate 5 Wednesday morning. The California Highway Patrol said she was a pedestrian who was hit near the W El Camino Avenue offramp. It happened around 4:20 a.m. in the number three lane. Her identity wasn’t released, but CHP said she was carrying Nevada identification.
