SACRAMENTO, Calif. – A man is dead after being shot in Sacramento on Saturday morning, according to the Sacramento Police Department. Police said officers found the shooting victim inside of a vehicle with at least one gunshot wound while responding to the area of Edmonton and Northstead after hearing reports of a shooting before 3 a.m. First responders transported him to the hospital.
