Kura Sushi to open second location in the Sacramento region

(FOX40.COM) — A conveyor belt sushi restaurant chain is coming to Roseville less than a mile away from the Galleria.

Kura Sushi is slated to open a new location in Roseville on 350 Gibson Drive, Suite 140, according to the restaurant chain’s Instagram account. An opening date has not yet been set.

It will be Kura Sushi’s second restaurant in the Sacramento region with the first location in the Howe Bout Arden shopping plaza in the Arden-Arcade area.

Kura Sushi has 18 locations across California. The upcoming Roseville resturant will be one of two new locations coming to California with the other being Bakersfield.

“We can’t wait to open our doors and welcome you all to dine with us!,” the restaurant said in an Instagram post.

Bringing ‘The Kura Experience’ to Roseville

The dining experience at Kura Sushi involves customers grabbing items from a revolving conveyor belt or an express lane with a touch screen for specific orders.

Sushi from the conveyor belt is covered to keep the food fresh. According to the restaurant’s website, tracking technology is used to ensure the food from the conveyor belt is fresh.
