FAIR OAKS, Calif. – A cigarette sparked a Fair Oaks garage fire, officials said Monday. The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District said crews responded to reports of a fire Sunday night along Timothy Way. When firefighters arrived, they found a garage fire and power lines sparking on the exterior. Sacramento Municipal Utility District de-energized the home.
