Hundreds of people protest in Lincoln over new center for the homeless

(FOX40.COM) — Hundreds of people showed up Saturday to protest against a new center for people experiencing homelessness in Lincoln. They said they were blind-sighted by the property owners.

The facility is located at 1660 3rd Street and was purchased by The Gathering Inn on Aug. 13. The organization said terms of the sale included keeping the building’s usage plan a secret until the sale closed.
