SACRAMENTO, Calif. – After a brief stretch of fall-like weather, Thursday is expected to mark a return of warmer days for Northern California. Meteorologist Kelly Curran said after a cooler morning, Thursday will heat up with a forecast high of 85 degrees in downtown Sacramento. That is a notable jump from 75 degrees on Wednesday. The average for this time of year is 89 degrees.
