Sacramento sideshow shootings leave two people dead

(FOX40.COM) — Two people are dead after two different sideshows early Sunday morning, according to the Sacramento Police Department.

The first incident happened around 2 a.m. in the 2400 Block of Seamist Drive. SPD said it was called there for reports of a shooting. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man with at least one gunshot wound. Despite life-saving attempts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Around 3 a.m., SPD responded to the area of Kelton Way and Main Avenue for another shooting.
Two men with gunshot wounds separately took themselves to local hospitals. Police said one of the men died from his injuries and the other male is in stable condition.

Police confirmed both incidents are tied to sideshows and are under investigation.
