SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Wednesday will be the hottest day of the week for Northern California, and some parts of the region may even see record heat. Meteorologist Tamara Berg said Wednesday’s forecast high for downtown Sacramento is 102 degrees, up from 100 degrees recorded on Tuesday. The average for this time of year is 85 degrees.
