10 teens arrested in connection with vandalism, burglary at Antelope school

(FOX40.COM) — Ten teenagers were arrested in connection with a series of burglaries and acts of vandalism over a few months at Antelope Crossing Middle School, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday.

According to the sheriff’s office, between April 19 and July 31, the damage to the school totaled around $100,000.

The sheriff’s office said two more juvenile suspects have yet to be arrested and that it has not been able to identify some of the suspects.

The charges include:

  • 56 charges of burglary
  • 35 charges of conspiracy
  • 11 charges of vandalism
  • One charge of possession of a destructive device with intent to intimidate
  • One charge of reckless or malicious possession of a destructive device

The sheriff’s office said it expects more charges to be filed as its investigation proceeds.
