SACRAMENTO, Calif. – A single-story duplex caught fire Sunday morning in North Highlands, the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District said. Fire crews were dispatched around 4:55 a.m. to a property on Bomark Way near Date Avenue. Three people who were asleep at the time of the fire were evacuated from the building, Sac Metro Fire said.
