SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Today, testimony begins in the federal civil lawsuit filed against Chico police officers in a deadly officer-involved shooting. The family of Tyler Rushing filed a police brutality lawsuit after he was shot to death in July 2017. The eight-member jury was seated Monday in federal court in Sacramento.
