(FOX40.COM) — The City of Sacramento is looking for public input on safety and mobility improvement plans for two key city roads.
The city will hold four meetings before the end of the year to allow residents to weigh in on what they’d like to see on Norwood Avenue and Howe Avenue.
The city is looking to make changes to the portion of Norwood Avenue between Main Avenue and Arcade Creek and the portion of Howe Avenue between Fair Oaks Blvd and the Power Inn light rail station south of Folsom Blvd.

The city said both streets have ” a high number of transportation-related severe injuries and fatalities.”
The city will hold an in-person meeting at 6:30 p.m. on November 18 at Robertson Community Center to discuss changes to Norwood Avenue with the community and hold a second meeting virtually three weeks later on Dec. 9 .
Similarly, residents are invited to the Scottish Rite Masonic Center on Nov. 20 at 6:30 p.m. to discuss Howe Avenue. On Dec. 2, the city will also hold a virtual meeting about Howe Avenue .
